There is a group of teenagers that were from a place named Wirrawee, a place that was far from the city.  The group went camping and not knowing they were being invaded by another country while they were out having fun.  The place they all decided to go to was a place named HELL well that's what they named it and it was a very tiring walk for them.  The group was doing great. They had sleeping bags and food but after a few days they started getting curious about all the aircraft that were flying past at night while they were trying to sleep. That's when they started to put the pieces together and find out that their hometown was being invaded.

The biggest key message that was in this text was just to expect the unexpected. For example they didn't know there was gonna be an invasion while they were out. 

Homer was my favourite because he seems like a person that I would be friends with.  He knows when to be serious and knows when to be a funny guy.  For example he was a true leader for the teenage group and had some mistakes but got it out in the end.  Homer is funny to most people because he is a clown/prankster

This story made me rethink that I should never take things for granted and be grateful for what I've got.  Like the things I have such as the roof over my head and the food that I get on my plate from my parents.

I would recommend this book because there are a lot of plot twists that happen in this book and people get to see that there could be danger close or around you that could be happening without you knowing.  Another thing about this book is that there is a lot of funny moments that the group goes through.

Term Reflection and Goal Setting for Term 4

 

1. One thing I wish I did differently in Term 3 was don’t get distracted by my friends as easily.

2. One thing I was proud of in Term 3 was I learnt how to do more fractions and measurements.

3. My main focus this term is to listen more to the teacher so it’s easier to understand the work.

4. When I need help I know to now ask either my friends or teacher for help.

5. At the end of this term, I want to be able to say that I achieved my goal of at least passing every test with Achieved or more.
